DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, April 2\, the Town of Addison kicks off its annua
 l event season by honoring culinary leaders of tomorrow while raising fund
 s for a great cause. Taste on the Tarmac combines the culinary arts and co
 mmunity from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galaxy FBO at the Addison Airport. Guests will
  enjoy fabulous bites and sips at this third annual event\, with ticket sa
 les benefiting the Metrocrest Services Sack Summer Hunger Program. \nHigh
  school students studying culinary arts in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD\,
  Dallas ISD\, Duncanville ISD and Plano ISD will compete with their best T
 aste Bite in which 50% of the ingredients used must be items that are typi
 cally donated to a food pantry. \nIn addition to the student-prepared bite
 s\, Chamberlain’s Steak & Fish and Yelibelly Chocolates will provide an ar
 ray of savory and sweet delights paired with specialty beverages. Guests w
 ill also enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening. Tickets for Tast
 e on the Tarmac are $75 per person and can be purchased online . \nGuests
  will vote for the People’s Choice Award and top honors will be voted on b
 y the mayors of the Metrocrest region. Recipes for all Taste Bite entries
  will be available at Metrocrest Services Food Pantry during the summer mo
