DESCRIPTION:Thursday nights this summer will be extra special in Rockwall a
 s the city presents its annual Concert by the Lake series. Held at The Har
 bor between 7 and 9 p.m. each week from May through July\, the concerts fe
 ature a wide assortment of musical artists. \nDavid Whiteman Band is one o
 f the most versatile and entertaining party bands in America. Led by vocal
 ist-guitarist David Whiteman\, this 13-piece band’s shows feature a mix of
  musicianship\, vocals\, sound and stage lighting. The band covers genres
  including Top 40\, pop\, R&B\, funk\, hip-hop\, rock\, Latin and dance mu
 sic\, including current hits and classics dating back to the 1960s. David
  Whiteman Band wraps up the Concert by the Lake series for the summer\, th
 ough it will return in October when temperatures hopefully cool. \nWidely
  recognized as one of the greatest live music cities in Texas\, Rockwall i
 s the “Free Live Music Capital of North Texas.” Through the years\, Rockwa
 ll has hosted more than 200 different bands at Concert by the Lake. \nThe
  free concerts take place on the Amphitheater Stage at The Harbor\, 2059 S
 ummer Lee Drive\, on the shores of beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard. Guests are
  encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets\, picnics and beverages. Conc
 erts take place unless there is rain or severe weather at showtime\; howev
 er\, the start of a show can be delayed if it appears rain will stop soon.
