 0\, join us for Sunday Hund-Day! Dogs are invited to experience the Addiso
 n Oktoberfest fun for one special day. Festival gates open at noon\, but t
 he main event is the Dachshund Dash\, which kicks off at 1 p.m. in the Par
 tyhalle. The race is brought to you by Pappy’s Pet Lodge and sees nearly 1
 00 dachshunds race through the finish line. The ultimate winner will be aw
 arded “The Golden Dachshund.” Racers must be registered in advance to part
 icipate. Registration opens Aug. 15 and will remain open until Sept. 13 or
  until 100 dogs are signed up. \nAt 3 p.m.\, check out the Pet Parade\, br
 ought to you by Texas Credit Union. Hunds will strut their stuff in their
  Oktoberfest best from the Java & Hopps Pavilion to the Bierspiele Stadium
 . Owners can register their dogs starting at 1 p.m. on the day of the para
 de. Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed pups! \nKids under 13 years
  old also get free admission on Sunday. Tickets are $10 per person 13 year
