Selena Quintanilla Perez was easily one of the most influential voices in Tejano music and her fame has continued long since her tragic death in 1995. Black Agave, the beloved Tex-Mex restaurant located at Mercer Boardwalk in Farmers Branch, will celebrate the life and legacy of Selena with La Flor Fest on Wednesday, April 16 from 5 to 10 p.m. as a part of its grand opening.

Throughout the evening, the restaurant will offer a wide array of food and drink specials, all discounted to $2 each for the party. Including:

• Draft Beers
• High Noons
• Queso Blanco
• Street Elotes
• Nachos

Guests can also order from Black Agave’s ample entrée menu, which features a balance of Tex-Mex standards with new favorites such as the Molcajete Mixto with shrimp, beef tenderloin, chicken and chorizo; filet mignon carne asada tacos; smoked brisket enchiladas; and more.
