Prepare your palates for a full day of family-friendly fun, food and festivities. The new Thermomix® Experience Center, located at 3232 McKinney Ave. in Dallas, is hosting Mix It Up, Texas, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 7.

Throughout the day, free cooking demos and samplings will be held by top chefs including:

Chef Uno Immanivong - Dallas-based Chef Uno was discovered and mentored by Anthony Bourdain and has opened innovative restaurants including RedStix Asian Street Food. Chef Uno's Asian Fusion demo will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.

Chef Ashley T. Henderson - The classically trained chef has more than 15 years of experience across top kitchens in Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York--including Nobu, The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton and Omni Hotels--Ashley blends fine dining expertise with modern culinary innovation. Chef Ashley's Brunch Inspirations demo is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Chef Meiko Temple - The food personality and digital creator has been featured on Food Network, Food52, Tasty, TheKitchn and TheFeedFeed. She's also the culinary marketing manager at Thermomix USA. Chef Meiko's Sweet Temptation demo is from 4 to 5 p.m.

There'll be margarita making contests, cookie decorating for the kids, hourly raffles and speed challenges centered around Thermomix's Cookidoo® platform, which features nearly 100,000 recipes and will create weekly meal plans, shopping lists and more, making it easier to eat well at home.
