As the story goes, oil and electricity tycoon Rupert B. BooMont aka “Boo” and his wife Emerald founded the spectacular BooMont Hotel in 1901. The hotel was an instant success, considered one of the finest in the world. A series of mysterious events left the hotel unable to shake whispers about a haunting, causing it to close in 1925. After 100 years, BAYMO, the creative team behind Santaland and SNOWDAY! at Galleria Dallas, has taken over ownership of the hotel and is proud to announce the BooMont Hotel is reopening! While overnight accommodation is not available, guests are invited to experience an unforgettable immersive experience, exploring the hotel’s 13 public rooms at their own pace.

Guests will enter the BooMont Hotel through the refurbished lobby, still decorated in the golds and greens that delighted guests in 1901. Elevators transport guests through the hotel, where older children and adults can expect the unexpected as they navigate through mysterious rooms, interactive spaces and imaginative photo opportunities.

The BooMont Hotel, BOO! for short, is located on Level 3 of Galleria Dallas near the Play Place. BOO! hours are as follows:

Sept. 5 – 28: Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Sundays noon – 6 p.m.

Oct. 1 – Nov. 2: Mondays – Saturdays 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. with extended hours the week of Halloween.

Special adults-only nights will be scheduled in October, featuring appearances by spooky characters.
