In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Cantina Laredo in Frisco is inviting guests to roll up their sleeves and take part in a modern Tamalada, a festive tamale-making party on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Led by Chef Rambo Saucedo, the hands-on class will simplify the age-old, labor-intensive tamale tradition. Guests will learn step-by-step techniques to prepare both chicken and beef tamales, leaving with their own handmade creations to enjoy at home.
To round out the evening, guests can enjoy a curated collection of cocktails, light bites and education from a tequila expert. Reservations for the tamale-making class can be made by calling the restaurant directly at (214) 618-9869.
