The Statler, Dallas’ mid-century gem, has been known since its inception as where North Texans go for fun. Three of the lifestyle hotel’s dining and drinking establishments are continuing their live music series in February.
Fans of Bourbon & Banter, the region’s longest-running speakeasy, will enjoy intimate, instrumental music appropriate for the swanky underground lounge, which was once the barber shop for the iconic Statler Hilton. Each Thursday from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., a curated collection of artists will perform.
On Thursday, Feb. 26, jazz violinist Zuriel Merek takes the stage. Zuriel is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and live looper who specializes in passionate electric violin performances that draw from eclectic influencers and utilize modern technology.
