In honor of Repeal Day, Bourbon & Banter, the underground speakeasy at The Statler, invites guests to celebrate with a curated selection of classic and rediscovered Prohibition-era cocktails, each specially priced for the occasion.

On Friday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy a lineup of handcrafted cocktails for just $5. The menu includes:

  • Mary Pickford: Flor de Caña 4 yr, pineapple, grenadine, lime, maraschino cherry
  • French 75: Hendrick’s gin, lemon juice, cane sugar, bubbles
  • Hanky Panky: Tanqueray 10 gin, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, Fernet-Branca
  • Millionaire: Pusser’s dark rum, Hendrick’s sloe gin, apricot eau de vie, lemon

Repeal Day, celebrated on Dec. 5, marks the end of Prohibition and the repeal of the 18th Amendment, which once banned the production, sale and transportation of alcohol. Its reversal restored Americans’ legal right to enjoy spirits once again, making Repeal Day the perfect occasion to raise a glass.
