North Texas’ most popular Latin music festival, the Vitruvian Salsa Festival, will showcase its final performance of the season with the Dallas-based Latin orchestra, Havana NRG. The band will take the stage on Saturday, Aug. 22 at the beautiful Vitruvian Park Amphitheater in Addison.

The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. with professional salsa lessons from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and Latin DJ Ruben Reyes spinning tracks. At 7 p.m., Havana NRG takes the stage with live music throughout the night. Food trucks and vendors surround Vitruvian Park’s amphitheater for each performance.

Havana NRG is celebrating more than 20 years of entertaining audiences. Also known as the New Rhythm Generation, the group takes its Cuban roots to new levels of performance and musical direction. Since its debut, the band has performed in venues across the nation and grown an international fan base.
