One of the nation’s most impressive and unique Independence Day celebrations is held in the 4.4 square-mile North Texas town of Addison. On July 3, more than a half-million guests from across the nation come to celebrate Addison Kaboom Town!® - a celebration that has been named among the top fireworks shows in the country, lauded by hundreds of organizations, including USAToday, Travel+Leisure, Conde Nast, the American Pyrotechnics Association and more.
The main party happens at Addison Circle Park from 5 to 11 p.m., where the entire night reverberates with live music. Performances include US Air Force Band of the West (5 p.m.), Poo Live Crew Cover Band (6:30 p.m.), Presentation of Colors and The National Anthem (8 p.m.), and Emerald City All Stars (8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.).
Spirited guests will also enjoy a fireworks show, an airshow with historic warbirds, a silent disco, a local vendor market, life-size lawn games, balloon artists, face painters and more.
