The legendary Texas Boys Choir and the acclaimed Orpheus Chamber Singers brought the holiday spirit to the CC Young campus with a festive Medley of Carols with partner WRR Classical 101.1. Singing to a standing room only crowd, the air was thick with cheer! Reception background music was performed by Open Classical.
“The holidays are a special time at CC Young and the inaugural holiday medley performance we hosted last year with WRR for the public was no exception” said CC Young Chief Executive Officer Russell Crews. “It was such a success with standing-room-only guest attendance that we approached our partners and proposed we do it again and invite the surrounding Dallas community to come to CC Young and hear these world-renowned musicians. This event is one more example of CC Young’s commitment to the arts and making it available to a broader community.”
The Texas Boys Choir, one of the best boys’ choirs in the world, has provided world-class vocal performances since 1946 The Orpheus Chamber Singers, a professional adult mixed choir celebrating its 30th season, has garnered critical acclaim for its annual concert series.
