Whole Foods Market kicks off
"Grills Just Want to Have Fun" through Wednesday, May 13
Summer is nearly here and Whole Foods Market’s North Texas stores celebrate the beginning of grilling season with “Grills Just Want to Have Fun” through Wednesday, May 20. The weeklong homage to grilling includes samples, recipes, sales, pop-ups and new flavor discovery with special events Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 from 12 to 5 p.m. each day.
The Addison store, at the southeast quadrant of Belt Line and the Tollway, is featuring Global Grilling on the patio on Saturday from noon-5pm, and grilled cheese sandwiches in the bar. Free samples of grilled items throughout the store will tempt your tastebuds all afternoon.
Customers can explore and learn more about Whole Foods Market’s seafood rating system, Global Animal Partnership’s 5-Step™ Animal Welfare Rating used by the company since 2011, and Responsibly Grown fresh produce rating system launched in fall 2014. All three programs exemplify Whole Foods Market’s commitment to sustainability, transparency, animal welfare and the environment.
Whole Foods Market team members are a great resource for recipes and cooking methods. They also cut to order, keeping budget and desired amount in mind.
An online guide at www.wfm/grilling shares methods and techniques and information on grilling beef, pork, poultry, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and meat substitutes. Grilling can be enhanced with dry rubs, marinades, kabobs and unexpected flavor thrillers like cheese, lettuce and pizza.
