PLANO, Texas (July 21, 2022) – Mexican Sugar, a Mexican comfort food restaurant located at 7501 Lone Star Drive within The Shops at Legacy North, is hosting the “Agave Experience” in celebration of National Tequila Day on Sunday, July 24, from 4 to 11 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Mexican Sugar’s robust collection of tequilas and mezcals in a blind taste test. Agave flights will be tailored specifically for guests based on preferences of aroma, taste, and finish. Tequila bottles and labels will be hidden, so agaves cannot be judged by their label.

The festivities also include complimentary samples of agaves from Calirosa Ice Luge, Codigo, and Siete Leguas, a traditional Mexican paleta cart serving refreshing tropical fruit popsicles, and custom-printed edible drink toppers. Attendees will be able to instantly print photos from their phone onto the featured cocktail, the Piña Envy. The Piña Envy is made with blanco tequila, pineapple, lime, sugar, and egg white foam.

In addition, The Shops at Legacy North is also hosting a $100 Mexican Sugar gift card giveaway the week leading up to the event.
