The Chili and Rib Cook off is an annual event hosted by the Dedicating Resources to Employees of Advertising and Media (DREAM) Fund to assist the organization in its efforts to provide financial support to advertising, public relations and media professionals whose lives have been impacted by severe hardship. The Chili and Rib Cook off celebrates good, old-fashioned competition, cooking and community. This family (and dog!) friendly event and fundraiser will feature chili cookers from the DFW media and business communities competing for awards! This year’s awards will include:

• Best Themed Booth
• People’s Choice Award for Chili
• Best Chili in two categories, and new this year…
• Best Ribs!

At the event guests can sample free chili and beverages, as well as vote for Best Chili. The excellent food and drink will be complemented by live performances from local musicians Anson Carter and Oleta Pearl. Admission is free for children, who can enjoy the exciting Kids Zone, which will feature:

• Face painting
• An over-sized bounce house
• A balloon artist
• Tours of a real fire truck
• And more!

This event continues to be enjoyable DREAM Fund highlight every year. Last year, more than 500 people attended and raised more than $10,000 for the Fund.
