Dallas Independent School District announced Thursday afternoon that classes across the district will be canceled Friday. Additionally, school-related events on Saturday, Dec. 7 are canceled.

The full message displayed on the home page of DISD's website can be read below:

In an abundance of caution, as a result of forecasts from the National Weather Service, Dallas ISD will not hold classes tomorrow Friday, December 6 and all events and activities on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 are canceled.
