Go Fish Poke

DALLAS – Dec. 1, 2016NAI Robert Lynn is pleased to represent two new tenants that will debut in Preston Center in Highland Park by the end of the year. Go Fish Poke is the first true poke concept of its kind in Dallas, and the flagship restaurant will be located at 6030 Luther Lane. Yolk will open its second store in Dallas, taking over LYFE Kitchen’s old space at 8315 Westchester Drive. Both tenants are represented by Kornel Romada, executive vice president of retail at NAI Robert Lynn.

Go Fish Poke is owned and operated by Tony Lin, who also owns Edo Japan in Rockwall. Lin sought to expand his culinary offerings in fine cuisine by bringing the popular West Coast and Hawaiian Poke trend to Dallas. The 2,574 square-foot high-end restaurant will cater to the health conscious person looking for an alternative to salad that they can enjoy in house or on the go.

“We are very excited our first location in the metroplex will open at the prestigious Preston Center.  It is a great opportunity to share our health-driven poke concept with the surrounding neighborhoods and employees, and we’re hopeful and confident our enthusiasm for our food will be shared by all who come and try it,” said Lin. “Kornel has been instrumental in laying out our growth strategy and assisting us in our site selection process.”

Yolk’s 4,604 square-foot eatery is the third location in DFW, with one in Fort Worth and another in One Arts Plaza in Dallas. Founded in 2006 by Taki Kastanis in Chicago, Yolk has established itself as a staple breakfast and lunch restaurant and will continue to expand throughout 2017.

“Kornel has been a Yolk enthusiast and loyal customer, partnering with us from the beginning to find the right spaces to grow our base here in Dallas, said Kastanis. “We’re looking forward to joining the Highland Park community and sharing our passion for breakfast, lunch and fantastic service,” said Kastanis.

Romada represented the tenants during the lease negotiations. Ryan Stewart represented the landlord, Rosebriar Properties, for the Go Fish Poke deal and the Weitzman Group represented the sub-lease of LYFE Kitchen for the Yolk deal.

“Go Fish Poke and Yolk are two outstanding restaurants with unique offerings that I think will cater well to the community,” said Romada. “The ease of access to both restaurants for nearby employees and neighbors will help them thrive during the daytime and their delicious menus will keep people coming back for more.”
