Rustic Modern Restaurant Brings Elevated Comfort Cuisine to Frisco, Texas

BarnLight Eatery, a modern southern restaurant rich in Texas tradition, today announced the opening of its doors to the Frisco community. The unique family-owned concept offers elevated comfort cuisine in a laid back environment.

BarnLight Eatery is located on the corner of Eldorado Parkway and Custer Road at 15922 Eldorado Parkway Suite 700, Frisco, Texas 75035. Owners Philip and Christina Doyal are sixth generation Texans with a passion to carry on the tradition of preparing hearty and wholesome food.

“We want to give guests a place where they can stop and take a moment to enjoy what we call ‘elevated comfort cuisine’,” said Executive Chef and Co-Owner Philip Doyal. “We focus on using high-quality, wholesome ingredients to create all of our dishes. The American palate has become accustomed to bold manufactured flavors, and at BarnLight we believe that well-prepared food does not require over seasoning. We want our customers to experience the simplicity of natural, flavorful ingredients.”

A few of the signature menu items include the Chipotle Bacon Burger served on a toasted artisan bun, the Blackened Salmon served with smoked corn relish and the Steak and Egg Open-Faced Sandwich topped with arugula and white truffle vinaigrette.

Guests can enjoy a variety of local beers, wines and house-crafted cocktails. Bottled beers are brought in from Rahr and Sons Brewing Company, a microbrewery in Fort Worth. Among the draft beers served, award-winning Southern Pecan is a favorite. Popular wines come right out of Texas Hill Country from Fall Creek Vineyards. House-crafted cocktails include the Lavender Martini, spiked lemonades, the Black Berry Citrus and the signature BarnLight Cocktail crafted with house-made brown sugar bacon syrup.

Fresh handmade desserts are baked in-house daily by Pastry Chef and Co-Owner Christina Doyal. Favorites include Key Lime Pie served with berry sauce and the Vanilla Bean Crème Brûléetopped with raspberries and a butter spritz cookie.

BarnLight is open for a brunch buffet every Sunday. The menu will change weekly to allow the chefs to use their creativity and experiment with new dishes. A few of the brunch items that have been served include chicken and mushroom crepes, shrimp creole, eggs benedict and fluffy home-style pancakes. Guests can pair their meal with a refreshing Mimosa or a rich Bloody Mary prepared with house-made Bloody Mary mix.

“At BarnLight, we want our guests to relax and step away from the daily hustle and bustle,” said Christina Doyal. “Our friendly staff encourages our guests to get comfortable, take their time and enjoy their dining experience.”

BarnLight Eatery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
