“The Trains at NorthPark is such an important part of our year at Ronald McDonald House Dallas,” said Jill Cumnock, CEO. “We have been back to full operation this year after the pandemic and have been operating at full capacity throughout this summer, but our expenses have continued to rise. Everyone who purchases a railcar, sponsors or attends the Trains at NorthPark makes a real difference in helping to defray these costs and allowing RMHD to provide services to our families free of charge. The railcars are lifelong keepsakes and a wonderful gift for a loved one, so please consider purchasing one this year.”
The Trains at NorthPark is the largest miniature train exhibit in Texas with more than 700 railcars featuring the corporations, organizations, families, and individuals who make the attraction possible. This year the Trains will be perfectly located on Level One of NorthPark, adjacent to Santa and Macy’s. Since its launch in 1987, The Trains have helped raise more than $18 million for RMHD and have welcomed more than 50,000 visitors each year to Dallas’ favorite shopping destination.
With 1,600-feet of tracks, The Trains at NorthPark will feature various cityscapes including Dallas, with landmarks like the Nasher Sculpture Center and Fair Park; New York with Times Square and Grand Central Terminal; and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. Other highlights include the treasured and iconic areas of the American west and Southwest, with New Mexico, the Grand Canyon, Garden of the Gods, and Route 66.
