There is no name better loved by bourbon drinkers than master distiller Booker Noe. The Statler’s underground speakeasy, Bourbon & Banter, will present a private dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, featuring a special menu celebrating Noe’s Basil Hayden Bourbon. Each of the menu’s four courses will be paired with a cocktail spotlighting a Basil Hayden spirit.
The menu for the dinner is as follows:
First Course
Spinach and roasted red pepper-stuffed chicken
Served with apple cider roasted root vegetables
Paired with Basil Hayden Dark Rye
Second Course
Steelhead Trout en papillote
Baked with seasonal vegetables and served over jasmine rice
Paired with Basil Hayden Bourbon
Third Course
Grilled flat iron steak
Served with truffle duchess potatoes, whiskey maple-glazed baby carrots and topped with a Basil Hayden herbed demi
Paired with Basil Hayden Toasted Bourbon
Dessert
Basil Hayden chocolaté pot de crème
