Black Agave, the new “Mex-Tex” restaurant that recently opened in Mercer Boardwalk on I-635 near Luna Road in Farmers Branch, will kick off the new year by serving a Hangover Brunch on New Year’s Day. The new brunch menu gives guests the same elevated, contemporary Mexican dining experience they’ve come to expect from Black Agave.
Brunch menu options include Chicken Chilaquiles ($14.99), with crispy tortilla, salsa tamulada, chicken tinga, sour cream, queso fresco, pickled red onion and sunny-side-up egg; Enchiladas Divorsiadas ($15.99), with chicken verde and brisket enchiladas, sunny-side-up egg, breakfast potatoes and queso blanco; Guisada Sopes Benedicts ($12.99), with two corn masa sopes, rojo beans, guisado rojo, poached eggs, Napa slaw and creamy salsa verde; and Steak & Eggs ($18.99), a six-ounce grilled tenderloin, breakfast potatoes, refried beans, queso fresco, green onion and sunny-side-up egg.
Bar specials include Margarita or Mimosa Flights for $12.99 each, and a carafe of Sangria for $9.99.
Brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on New Year’s Day. Starting Jan. 6, brunch will be available at Black Agave from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
