In response to the tragic humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, Trademark Property and Galleria Dallas are supporting UNICEF USA’s efforts to aid children affected by the conflict and are encouraging employees, friends, partners, clients and customers to join in.

Galleria Dallas will sell “Flowers for Ukraine” – sunflowers, Ukraine’s national flower, tied in bundles with ribbons in yellow and blue, the colors of Ukraine’s flag. The flowers will be for purchase by donation, with a $25 minimum recommended donation, from noon to 3:00 p.m. April 14.

Local celebrities will man the flower cart to greet donors and thank them for giving. The fundraiser’s featured hosts include:

12 – 12:30 p.m.           Lynn McBee, Dallas mayoral candidate and noted philanthropist

12:30 – 1 p.m.             Tashara Parker, WFAA personality

1 – 1:30 p.m.               John and Joa Muns, Plano Mayor and his wife

1:30 – 2 p.m.               Chad West, Dallas Mayor Pro Tem

2 – 2:30 p.m.               Kellie Rasberry, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning host

2:30 – 3 p.m.               Ashley Cain-Gribble, Olympic figure skater

At the same time, Galleria Dallas Ice Skating Center will host a “by donation” skate session with proceeds going to UNICEF. Skate Center admission and skate rental will be available for donations in the amount of guests’ choosing from noon to 3:00 p.m. A minimum donation of $15 is suggested.

Beginning next week and continuing through the end of April, artworks from Volta Voloshin-Smith, a part-Ukrainian, part Moldovan immigrant who now lives in DFW, will be on display in the exhibit space across from Gucci. A QR code at the exhibit will allow guests to donate to the UNICEF fundraiser.
