Bring your dancing shoes to Vitruvian Park’s Amphitheater and enjoy a lively performance by Havana NRG that will kick off the popular Vitruvian Salsa Festival on June 8. There will be free dance lessons for all ages and abilities, music spun by a local DJ, food trucks, food vendors and more. The festival runs from 6 to 10 p.m. with professional salsa lessons from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Havana NRG is a Latin orchestra out of Dallas also known as the New Rhythm Generation, the group takes its Cuban roots to new levels of performance and musical direction. Since its debut, the band has performed in venues across the nation and grown an international fan base.
Event Parking is available for $15 (cash only) at Vitruvian Park and Alfred J. Loos Sports Complex. In the event of inclement weather, the Vitruvian Salsa Festival is subject to cancellation; parking is non-refundable.
