Galleria Dallas is partnering with Broadway Dallas to share the impact of live musical theater and arts education. The center will be home to a vivid display showcasing the organization’s Give A Kid A Seat program. Galleria Dallas shoppers will also be treated to performances by Broadway Dallas’ High School Musical Theater Awards finalists on Aug. 5 and Aug. 12 at 11 a.m. These public shows are free to attend and celebrate the students’ achievements in musical theater. The performances will take place in front of the Gallery Wall on Level 1 across from Apple.

With Give A Kid A Seat, Broadway Dallas raises funds to provide thousands of students from underserved neighborhoods free tickets to attend Broadway shows with accompanying engagement activities. The colorful Gallery Wall will share the history of the Give A Kid A Seat program and will invite donors to share the joy of live theater. Each $100 raised will buy a seat for a youth to attend the theater.
