For more than three decades, Galleria Dallas has been where Dallas goes to experience the holidays. From the country’s tallest indoor Christmas tree to children sharing their wishes with Santa, the famed shopping center has long been the holiday epicenter of North Texas. While things may look a little different in 2020, Galleria Dallas has plans to continue the holiday sparkle for its guests.
The most notable part of the Galleria Dallas holiday celebration is the center’s massive Christmas tree, and that tradition will remain unchanged. From Nov. 8 to Nov. 11, a crew of nearly 100 of Santa’s helpers will be onsite to erect the 95 foot tall tree, which is decorated with over 450,000 twinkly LED lights and more than 10,000 ball ornaments. The record-holding tree is topped with a custom designed 10 foot tall LED star. Guests will be able to skate around that tree from Thursday, Nov. 12 through Sunday, Jan. 3.
