AMERICAN HISTORY WARBIRD RIDE DAY
Cavanaugh Flight Museum has long been known for bringing history to life at their Addison, Texas museum. However, this summer the lauded museum will bring their collection to Grayson County. On Saturday, June 8, Cavanaugh Flight Museum will host the American History Warbird Ride Day. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests will be able to view aircrafts and even purchase rides in selected planes, including the museum’s B25 Mitchell, T6 Texan, TravelAir 4000, O2 Skymaster and UHIH Iroquois Huey.
Discounted flights begin at only $90
“We’re thrilled to bring a part of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum collection to the North Texas Regional Airport,” explained Cavanaugh Flight Museum Executive Director Doug Jeanes. “This is really just a first step in creating aviation history events for the Texoma region, and we’re excited to be a part of this growth.”
