Santa is trading his sleigh for a helicopter this holiday season as he makes a special airborne arrival at Frontiers of Flight Museum on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026. The Smithsonian-affiliated museum at Dallas Love Field will welcome families to Santa Day, a festive morning celebrating the magic of the season and the excitement of aviation.

The celebration runs from 9 to 11 a.m. and kicks off with Santa’s arrival by Airbus helicopter at 9 a.m. Following his arrival, families can enjoy complimentary photos with Santa, cookies, free hot cocoa and a variety of family-friendly activities. The museum’s Jetsetters Coffee Lounge will also be open, offering specialty drinks and sweets for purchase.

Admission is free for museum members and children under the age of 3. Tickets are $25 for adults ages 13–64 and $15 for children ages 3-12 and seniors ages 65 and older.
