Addison concludes its 60^th anniversary celebration with a community picnic for its residents, 6-8 p.m. June 14 at Beckert Park. Join the city in celebrating this milestone with live music, food and other fun activities including giant-sized board games like Jenga and Connect Four, or meet a friend and share a conversation in Addison’s Dot Pit.  Hot dogs, beverages and snow cones will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis until 8 p.m. Food trucks will also be available with refreshments for purchase. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic, lawn chairs and blankets for an evening of fun! After the picnic, Addison Summer Series continues with Songwriter Saturdays with an unplugged concert from Prophets & Outlaws, Dallas’ own “Southern Rock Band with Soul”, from 8 p.m.-10 p.m.

Sea Breeze announces February 23 Cooking Class

Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill will continue their very popular cooking class series this month with a seafood class on Sunday, February 23.  Classes are traditionally the fourth Sunday of each month from 3-4:30 p.m.  Guests in the classes will learn 3-4 seafood recipes, taste those recipes and enjoy wine pairings as well, all for $40 per person!
