Randy Feemster

Randy Feemster, Trinity Christian Academy’s (TCA) varsity boys basketball coach, was recently named Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) 5A District 1 Coach of the Year for the 2013-2014 season.  Feemster’s outstanding coaching skills and ability to guide his team to victory made him an outstanding candidate for this year’s award.

Starting at TCA as an assistant coach in 2002, Feemster eventually took over the boys varsity basketball program as head coach in 2007, leading the Trojans to a TAPPS state championship win just two years later in 2009. The following season, Feemster guided the team to its second consecutive state championship appearance, where TCA was named state runner-up.

This year, TCA finished the second half of district play with a strong 7-1 record, beating both John Paul II, this year’s state runner-up, and Prestonwood Christian Academy, the eventual state champions.
