Several outstanding math students at Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) recently competed in the area ACSI Math Olympics. The annual competition is held to stimulate an interest in math at a young age. Third through eighth grade students choose to participate in either the computation or reasoning category, and worked with parent coaches prior to each level of competition. This year, TCA competed against 16 other private schools in the area. Fourteen middle school students from TCA placed in the top four of their category, including three first place finishes.
