Sixth-grade teachers dressed up as flight workers and transformed their classrooms with décor representing different continents to take their students on a learning experience

Recently, the sixth-grade teachers at Trinity Christian Academy (TCA), donned flight captain, flight attendant and ground crew outfits to take their students on a trip around the world. Each classroom was decorated to represent a different continent and the students traveled from one “continent” to the next via a hallway-turned-airplane runway as they switched classes throughout the day.

Science teacher, Stephen Megison's classroom portrayed an airplane cabin and he was the captain, dressed in a flight suit, while his colleagues donned flight attendant and ground crew uniforms. The teachers made elaborate decorations and put on costumes to engage each class as students gave presentations on various countries for their history their and literature classes.
