Upper school students at Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) recently came together to form a new student-led STEM club consisting of more than 35 students interested in the science, technology, engineering and math fields. A key component of the new club is their involvement in mentoring the middle school robotics team for the 2014 FIRST® LEGO® League WORLD CLASS competition.

The students began mentoring younger students in November and currently have meeting sessions scheduled through the month of February. The club also participates in math competitions, welcomes guest speakers and focuses on growing and sharing their talents in the STEM fields.
