The Statler’s speakeasy, Bourbon & Banter, is once again bringing comedy and cuisine with its Underground Comedy Dinner on Friday, Oct. 20. Guests will have a chance to enjoy a four-course dinner paired with an unforgettable comedy show featuring comedians, GretchYo, Peng Dang, Arun Rama, and Brooke Jefferson. 

The night will be hosted by the hilarious Dallas-based comedianGretchYo, who describes her comedic style as “wildly inappropriate” but surely entertaining.

Peng Dang’s humor is a fusion of both his modern and traditional Asian experiences moving from China to the United States. Watch him share his stories in a hilarious way.

Arun Rama harbors a unique fish out of water perspective on life, love, and everything in between that leave audiences thirsty for more. His one-of-a-kind perspective will leave you in splits.

Brooke Jefferson has been called the Jane Goodall of men. She shares stories from the front lines of her male-dominated workspace and delves into the perils of modern dating. 

Bourbon & Banter will treat its guests to an elegant dinner. The menu for evening is as follows:

Amuse Bouche

Beef tartare on a crostini.

First Course

Sweet tea-brined pork chops served with roasted red pepper mashed potatoes and grilled broccolini.

Second Course

Steelhead trout en papillote served over steamed jasmine rice.

Dessert

Chocolate mousse parfait.   

Tickets for the Underground Comedy Club Dinner are $85 per person and can be purchased viaResy.
